Tiger Airways today announced that from 6 September it will launch a new direct service between Singapore and Cebu. The service will mark Tiger’s debut in Cebu, which becomes the airline’s second Philippine destination after Manila. Tiger will launch with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, increasing to a daily service in October.
“We are excited to introduce Cebu as our newest travel destination. Cebu is the number one tourist destination in the Philippines and it holds a strong appeal for many travelers looking to escape to a tropical paradise,” said Stewart Adams, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore.
“As Singapore’s leading low-cost carrier, Tiger Airways consistently provides the lowest airfares, giving consumers the opportunity to take breaks when they need them, at a fraction of the cost that they were previously used to,” he added.(TravelWeeklyAsiaNews)
